From April 08 to 10, PERUPETRO S.A attended
the work meetings with the natives of Ashuar Community
in the Region of Iquitos, with the purpose of coordinating
the activities scheduled for the Information Workshop in
relation to the subscription of the License Contract for
the Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in Block
115.
On April 15 and 16, PERUPETRO S.A took
part in the work meeting with the Regional Government of
San Martin, in Tarapoto City, with the intention to inform
about the activities scheduled for the Information Workshop
in relation to the subscription of the License Contract
for the Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in
Block 125.
On April 16, PERUPETRO S.A attended a
meeting in the Congress of the Republic due to the invitation
of the Energy and Mines Commission, managed by the congressman
Santiago Fujimori Fujimori. The purpose of this meeting
was to comment the Report about The Social and Environmental
conflicts due to the extractive activities in Peru, issued
by DEFENSORIA DEL PUEBLO on April 2nd.
On April 18, PERUPETRO S.A. travelled
to Iquitos to perform a check-up visit to establish the
services facilities available in such city in order to
perform the State Information Workshop related to the License
Contract for the Exploration and Exploitation in Blocks
122 y 128.
From April 23 to 27, PERUPETRO S.A attended
the Basic Workshop for Auditors about Sustainable Agriculture.
This conference was sponsored by Rainforest Alliance and
took place in city of Villa Rica, Region of Junin.
On April 27, PERUPETRO S.A took part
in the Public Hearing for the Environmental Impact Assessment
of the 2D Prospecting Project and Drilling of Exploratory
Wells related to the License Contract for the Exploration
and Exploitation in Block 105, which is operated by Siboil
del Peru S.A. The audience took place in Caracoto District,
Province of San Ramon, Region of Puno.
Since the signature of the meeting record
on February 5, PERUPETRO is taking part of the meetings
with the Commission made up by the Presidency of Ministers
Council, INDEPA, CONAP, AIDESEP, the Public Advocacy, Ministry
of Energy and Mines, Ministry of Agriculture in order to
submit the Bylaws proposal for Law 28736 to the corresponding
institution.
During April, meetings within representatives
of MINEM, INRENA, CONAM with the purpose of coordinating
topics related to the Agreement Nº 169: Natural Protected
Areas and Ecological Economic Zoning, respectively, have
been held.
