The module for Hydrocarbon
Exploitation in Lot 88 – The Camisea Gas Fields was
granted to the Consortium comprised by Pluspetrol (Argentine),
Hunt Oil Co. (USA), SK Corp. (Korea), and Hidrocarburos
Andinos (Argentine) companies, and the corresponding License
Agreement was signed on December 9, 2000.
The module for Transportation
of gas and gas liquids from Camisea to the Coast and the
gas Supply in Lima and Callao was granted to the Consortium
comprised by Techint (Argentine), Pluspetrol (Argentine),
Hunt Oil Co. (USA), SK Corp. (Korea), Sonatrach (Argelia),
and Graña y Montero (Peru) companies; likewise, the
corresponding Concession Contract were signed on December
9, 2000.
The first stage of this
significant project of hydrocarbon supply and production
involves design activities and construction of facilities
as well as production and transportation infrastructure.
This will allow the availability of gas fuel in Peru’s
coast and capital city by the beginning of 2004, as well
as significant volumes of liquid fuels for the domestic
market consumption.
